Hannah’s 2019 racing season is now underway after a joint outing of NASA So-Cal and NASA Arizona saw over 30 Spec Miata competitors at Chuckwalla Raceway. The talent was deep and the racing exciting as Hannah was able to fight her way to the lead pack on Saturday and earn a podium and fast lap on Sunday (unofficial track record in the CCW direction).
Hannah is again racing her Mothers, Robert Davis Racing, Morning Star Racing, Global Electronic Technology, RLV Mazda Miata this weekend, March 16-17, at Willow Springs. This race weekend also marks the beginning of the Teen Mazda Challenge series. The TMC program runs concurrently with NASA races throughout the United States. Drivers between the ages of 13 and 20 compete within their region, with each regional champion receiving one of the coveted invitations to the Mazda Road to 24 Shootout. After a very successful 2018 season which saw Hannah competing as one of four finalists at the Shootout, Hannah will aim to repeat her visit to the finals and this year win the Shootout.
Hannah is also now about three quarters of the way through her freshman year as a business major at San Diego State University. Please follow Hannah, and wish her luck as she campaigns the 2019 season!
